Rob Simpson has been described as a leading voice for change on how we prepare our emergency and voluntary rescue services for extreme weather. This passion has led him to develop Exercise Winter Storm where he has been the Exercise Director since its creation. His work has seen him present at various shows, appear on TV, radio and podcasts, and present to Government. Rob has been a police officer for 23 years and is the lead for the Constabulary's response to weather related events. 

He has been involved in numerous challenging rescues which have earned him recognition through commendations and more. 

Rob has won national awards for problem solving and has represented UK policing in the USA where his problem solving approach to policing earned a runners up place at the Goldstein Awards.
