



PC John Teasdale
Head of Interoperability
PC John Teasdale is a serving police officer with Cheshire Constabulary’s Rural Crime Team. He has 22 years experience in the emergency services having been an Emergency Medical Technician, Medical Event Manager & former member of a local search & rescue team. John is still active as a medic, serving as a first responder with North West Ambulance Service and is a police medic. He is a Health & Safety professional, who is currently the portfolio lead for Cheshire Police Federation and supports the forces Health & Safety department.
He is passionate about JESIP and major/critical incident management and is currently a trained Operational Commander & loggist. Combining his real world experiences from across the services, he is an advocate for JESIP, developing policy/procedure and stress testing emergency plans.
His career highlights include the design and implementation of a specialist paediatric intensive care service, winter pressure planning (NHS Support, medical manager at the Paralympic World Cup. He has received multiple Chief Officer Awards for bravery and demonstrating excellence in policing including the coordination & rescue of a child missing in flood water and the successful resuscitation of a baby who had stopped breathing.
